Bobtail Pets

The Bobtail Pets website was built for an old school friend, who created his own online pet shop business in August/September 2008.

This was really my first furore into a proper eCommerce website, where you took payment off people online, so it was taken as a joint decision to develop this using Cubecart. This was partly because he wanted the website built within 6 weeks, and partly my inexperience with full eCommerce.

Bobtail Pets uses quite alot of technologies. Payment is taken securely using SSL, Cubecart is built on PHP, with quite alot of elements I heavily modified, such as the latest products on the homepage, and all the SEF URLs.

Overall, this is the website I'm most pleased with as a technical achievement, and also as a piece of design, I thoroughly enjoyed developing it.
