This website was done for a friend, who unfortunately has a rare lung disease, and needs to raise money for a transplant in America. Being a poor student and all, I couldn't really afford to donate enough money to make a difference, so I did the next thing that came to my head - upgrade her website for free!
Although I would've loved to have built this one from scratch, unfortunately it needed to be developed very quickly, which ruled that out. Finally, I settled on Joomla, which is what the entire website is now built on.
The design for the website was done with Photoshop, and was a completely custom template for the website, created to W3C XHTML Transitional standards (unfortunately, since then, the Paypal buttons, and flash videos she's added have broken it...). Along with this, I added on some SEF URLs, and ported over all of the information from her old website. Overall, it took around two weeks to complete, but about a week and half of that was moving information over!
This might not've been the most technically challenging website I ever built, but it was the one that gave me the best feeling afterwards, because I knew I did all I could do to help someone who really needed it :)
